At this 25th GGP, we have together sought to learn the wisdom of Divine Truth that is to be found in the Map of Life (Ninden Keirin Zu). I would like everyone to look at this Map of Life one more time.

In this Map of Life there are two forces moving in opposite directions.

One is a force pulling us to the left. This is the force that tries to keep us inside the cave of karmic destiny. The other force pushes us to the right. This is the force that seeks to lift us to fly to the horizon of mission.

So, there are these two forces. The force pushing to the right is the power that seeks to extract us from the rut we are trapped in inside the cave of karmic destiny, by reversing our destiny and lifting us to the horizon of mission.

These two forces are forever battling each other and pulling us in opposite directions throughout our lives.

Now let us take a look at the force in the Map of Life that pulls us to the left. This is quite a compelling force. It pulls us back like a powerful magnet to the inside the cave of karmic destiny in the left corner of our Map of Life.

In regard to this magnetic force, when we are born into this world, we automatically absorb the three streams of influence (blood, place, and era) of the world. At birth we are a helpless infant unable to do anything on our own. It is only natural that we would breathe in and absorb the three streams of influence , just like iron sand is attracted to a magnet, like iron sand that is also full of the dregs of this world. This contaminated iron sand flows into our minds as a matter of course. We absorb it quite naturally.

And so, this is how the dregs of this world get inside of us. The iron sand that is compelled to flow into our minds by the three streams of influence settles within us as sediment in the cave of karmic destiny and emits a powerful magnetic force that pulls us back into the cave compelling us to stay there.

Outside is a magnet and inside us is iron sand. These two forces constantly tug at each other.

But can a magnet pull on something that does not contain iron?

If there is no iron within us, no matter how powerful the magnet may be, we cannot be pulled by it. In other words, if we can remove the three streams of influence that have settled as iron sand within us, we can disable the persistent magnetic pull of the cave of karmic destiny and prevent it from swallowing us.

So clearly, we must release the three streams of influence from our minds. We must detox our minds.
