Outside of us
Spreads an outer universe
That is vast and boundless.

We have an inner universe
No less vast or boundless than that.

What connects the two infinities
Of boundless outer and inner universes
Is the human mind.

Depending on our mind,
The inner universe can become
The foundation of light
Or the mother of darkness.

What is most suitable
To bring out and push forward
The power of the inner universe
Is the mind called Bodaishin.
