Compass of the Times 202

To Open a New Path

Keiko Takahashi

A Problem that has Arisen for the First Time in History

Happy New Year.

The year 2021 began by opening a new door from the last year when we were tossed about by COVID-19. I sincerely hope that our steps this year will be even closer to the core of our lives because we live in a time of an unprecedented trial.

Times of crisis and turbulence that change the world have repeatedly happened before, yet, never has there been such a widespread and simultaneous problem as in this corona disaster.

No matter where we are in the world, or whatever community we belong to, the United States, Europe, South America, Latin America, East Asia, Southeast Asia, or Africa, if we hear the word “corona,” everyone will simultaneously have the same awareness of the problem. We think of the turmoil of the last year, and hope that order will be restored.

An incident like this has never occurred before in human history.

In other words, something of unimaginable scale is happening today.

We live in an “era of unbelievable” where something unthinkable has happened.

Put another way; it means that the corona crisis is also an opportunity to awaken us as human beings. At this point we cannot do anything about the situation using the way we have lived and faced the world in the past, one in which there is oscillation between pleasure and pain. Could this be a chance for us to respond to that calling in the level of consciousness of humanity?

To Open the Golden Path

A book, The Golden Path: The Miraculous Path Opened in the Midst of Desperation, which is scheduled to be published this month, is what I have written with the intention to be a guide for living in such an era of unbelievable.

The framework of this book is based on the concept of Wisdom of the Study of the Soul. It is interpreted from the Divine Truth, namely, the Method for Engaging Chaos, the Sense of Blueprint, and the Transformation of Ju-Hatsu-Shiki.

I can state that we will be able to approach the best path if we can understand these three Divine Truths deeply and proceed in a concrete manner by connecting each of them in a proper way.

The Method for Engaging Chaos is to perceive incidents and situations that we face as being in a state where the shape or outline has yet to be formed, and the result or conclusion is yet to be drawn forth.

The reality of Chaos is that it breathes like a living organism and contains everything, whether it is a thunderous storm, a clear sky without a cloud, or wind-blown snow.

In other words, it is full of energy and is in a  constant state of change. That energy is directly connected to ourselves and changes in tandem with us.

Our starting point is to accept the situation in front of us as Chaos that is filled with such energy and contains this diversity of change.

The Sense of Blueprint guides us to the shape of reality we should aim for. The blueprint is the destination to be reached, and it corresponds to Metsu (Aspiration) of Wisdom. In every situation, whether it is difficult or smooth, hidden within it is a blueprint in the form of what it should be. The Sense of Blueprint is the sense with which we can believe that “there is always a blueprint,” ask for it, and find the destination.

Many of you have already worked on the Transformation of Ju-Hatsu-Shiki. It is to rotate the cycle of Reception → Transmission→ Reality. Through the rotation of this cycle, we humans touch upon Chaos and crystallize that Chaos irreversibly.

The basic method of the Transformation of Ju-Hatsu-Shiki that we have discussed so far is to convert the Ju-Hatsu-Shiki of dark transformation into that of light transformation, based on the Soul Compass (Bonno Map). This is also the basic attitude of transformation in this book.

Time to Become a Master User of the Divine Truth

We accept the reality in front of us as Chaos, find the blueprint entrusted to us, and depict that blueprint as our destination. We then use the transformation of our Ju-Hatsu-Shiki as the driving force that carries the Chaos to its destination.

When we become one with these Divine Truths and become their master users, a new path will open up before us that we never thought would be there. It will be given to us as the best path from the entire universe and the Great Existence that keeps us alive and supports us.

Editor’s Note

1. Study of the Soul

The Study of the Soul is a system of theory and practice in which we seek a way of life by connecting the visible and invisible dimensions. In contrast to the study of phenomena, which science represents by dealing with the materialistic dimension, the Study of the Soul goes beyond that, dealing comprehensively with the materialistic dimension and the invisible dimension of the mind and soul. That is a principle that I have discovered from intensive studies of human beings and the individual life journeys of the many people whom I have met. By looking at the soul, mind, and reality as a whole, we observe human beings and hope to respond to every possible occasion.(Excerpt from p.40 of How to Make Your Life the Best by Keiko Takahashi)

2. Wisdom (In-En-Kaho Wisdom)

In-En-Kaho Wisdom is the wisdom, as well as the method devised by Keiko Takahashi that enables us to solve many different problems and create a new future based on the perspective of In-En-Kaho. First, we draw a problem to In (ourselves) and grasp the flow of energy in the circulation of darkness—how In and En (conditions) are combined to produce Kaho (problem). By changing our In and transforming and preparing En (partners, principles, and systems), the energy toward dark transformation will gradually stop. The energy toward the circulation of light will increase, and we can open up a path to solution and creation.

3. Ju-Hatsu-Shiki

Ju is the Reception, in which we perceive events that occurred in reality (external world) into our mind (internal world). Hatsu is he Transmission, in which we interact with the external world after perception. Shiki is a Buddhist term that refers to visible realities or the external world such as incidents and events, including people. As long as we live, human beings continue to turn this cycle of Ju-Hatsu-Shiki and keep producing realities, even if we are not aware of it. 4. Soul Compass (Bonno Map)

Bonno is originally a Buddhist term, and it refers to all delusional thoughts that bother and aggravate people mentally and physically. The Soul Compass grasps them as tendencies in four types of Bonno that turn our life into darkness. The four types of Bonno are as follows: the tendency of Pain-Recklessness (a victim) that is symbolized by anger and discontent of human beings; the tendency of Pleasure-Lethargy (a happy person) that is symbolized by laziness within humans and blind dependency on others; the tendency of Pain-Lethargy (a self-deprecating person) that is symbolized by fear and negative thoughts; and the tendency of Pleasure-Recklessness (an overconfident person) that is symbolized by greed and controlling others.
