Your Other Self – Bring Forth Human Potential

On Monday, November 4 (substitute holiday), the ‘2024 Keiko Takahashi Lecture Series’ kicked off at the Niterra NTK Civic Hall (Nagoya Civic Assembly Hall), with a live broadcast to the Main Hall on the 3rd floor of the Fukuoka International Congress Center. From there, it will be held at various locations across the country and around the world until Sunday, November 24 (see below for details).
The theme for this year’s lecture series is ‘Your Other Self—Bring Forth Human Potential.’
In the message included in the pamphlet distributed on the day, the lecturer, Keiko Takahashi, shares the following words:

Live in a Future Beyond Our Imagination

Today, we are surrounded by a mountain of challenges. Any one of those has difficulties that cannot be overcome by the ways we used to do, up to now. For each of us as well, aren’t the changing times and society making our life more difficult than ever before?
In order to overcome this reality, we need to draw forth our Other Self, us as the Soul. Within everyone, there is the Other Self dormant; a Self different from the usual Self, and that has been formed over a long time and through multiple experiences. It is the Self that has accumulated deep wisdom, is connected to the world, and resonates with it. Believing in this Other Self is the very first step toward a new reality. I hope you will take a new step toward a future beyond your imagination, unbound by conventional wisdom and customs.

(Excerpt from the pamphlet)

Leaders from various fields also endorse the lecture series!

The ‘Keiko Takahashi Lecture Series,’ held annually since 1992 has welcomed a total of 1.7 million participants. Leaders active across various fields have also expressed their support and recommendations for this series.
This year, the following three individuals contributed messages to the pamphlet (excerpted below).

● Dr. Yasuharu Tokuda
Studying the ‘Study of the Soul’ and awakening the Other Self draws out your inner strength and potential, improves your physical and mental health, and ultimately leads to living a happier life.
(Director of Muribushi Okinawa Clinical Training Center, General Practitioner)

● Mr. Masato Ninomiya
I am convinced that the only way to solve the issues of division, inequality, misunderstanding, and conflict is for each of us to awaken to the other self that lies dormant within us through the practice of this study.
(Attorney, Senior Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Sao Paulo, also works as an interpreter and translator for the government and the Imperial family)

● Ms. Kiiko Nakamiya
Transforming the mind through the ‘Study of the Soul’ is what enables us to overcome challenges, move beyond old, comfortable ways of living, and guide us toward a new way of life.
(Proprietress of Kaga-han’s official confectionery, Morihachi)

Anyone is welcome to attend the lecture series.
Whether you are currently facing challenges or are looking to embark on a new journey, we encourage you to join. It will surely be an opportunity to take a step toward a future beyond what you can imagine.
